ProfessionalsYou do not need to have worked out what you want to ask. Most people start mid-sentence, in the middle of a crisis, and that is entirely normal.
If you would rather put it in writing than talk, this reaches us directly. Tell us roughly what is happening — it takes about two minutes, and there is no wrong way to describe it.
We reply within one working day, and sooner where a hospital discharge is involved. If what you need is the free twenty-minute call, you can book a time without waiting for us.
Twenty minutes on the telephone. You describe the situation; we ask the questions that tend to matter. At the end of it you will know whether there is something worth doing, what it would involve and what it would cost.
If the answer is that you do not need to pay us for anything, we will say so. That happens more often than you might expect, and it is the reason people come back later when they do need help.
Hospital discharge situations move faster than email. Telephone rather than write, and say that it is a discharge — those are prioritised, with a response target of 48 hours.
Solicitors, deputies, advisers and discharge teams can refer a client directly. Tell us the situation, the urgency and what you need from us, and we will come back with scope, cost and timescale.
None of this is essential. If you do not know, we will work it out together.
Just tell us what’s happening.
No pressure. No care-provider commissions. Just a conversation about what may help.
