CARE PARTNER MEMBERSHIP — £115 A MONTH

Someone alongside you as things change.

Care is rarely a single decision. Needs change, funding changes, providers change, and each time the family is back at the start, working it all out again. Care Partner Membership gives you a registered nurse you can ring every month, a written review every quarter, and someone who already knows the history when something goes wrong.

£115 a monthOne fixed monthly fee. No hourly billing, and no commission from any care provider.
A monthly guidance callA scheduled call with a registered nurse to go through what has changed and what to do about it.
A written review every quarterWhere things stand, what is working, what is not, and what to watch for next.
Priority access when it mattersMembers come first when something urgent happens, because we already know the situation.
WHO IT IS FOR

For families where things keep changing

Most of our services answer one question at a fixed price: is there a CHC case, which care home, what is the person entitled to. They work well when the situation is settled enough to have one question. Membership is for when it is not.

It suits the daughter who is managing her father’s care from two hundred miles away and cannot tell from a phone call whether the home is still coping. The husband whose wife’s dementia is progressing, who knows the current arrangement will not last but does not know what comes after it. The attorney holding a care package together across a council, a home and a GP surgery who never speak to each other.

What it is not

It is not a care agency, a care manager or a substitute for the local authority’s duties. We do not provide care or arrange it on commission. What we provide is independent, nurse-led judgement, on tap, from someone whose only interest is the family paying the fee.

If you would rather deal with things one at a time, every service is still available at its published price, and the Care Guidance Call is usually the right place to start.

Membership suits you if
  • Needs are changing and you expect more decisions in the next year, not fewer
  • You live some distance away and cannot see for yourself how care is going
  • More than one family member is involved and you want everyone hearing the same advice
  • There is a care package, a home or a funding arrangement that needs keeping an eye on
  • You have already used one of our services and would rather not start from scratch each time
  • You want a professional you can ring before a problem becomes a crisis
WHAT IS INCLUDED

What you get for £115 a month

Everything below is included in the monthly fee.

Monthly guidance call

A scheduled call with a registered nurse. What has changed, what it means, what to do next. Family members can join from wherever they are.

Quarterly written review

Every three months, a written summary of where things stand: needs, care, funding, and anything on the horizon. Something the whole family can read and keep.

Priority access

When something happens between calls — a fall, a notice to leave, a funding letter — members are seen first, by someone who already knows the history.

Ongoing care-planning support

Help with the letters, the questions to ask, the meetings to prepare for and the decisions to make, as they arise rather than after the event.

HOW IT WORKS

A steady rhythm, and a quicker response when it is needed

1

Get in touch

Tell us the situation. If membership is not the right fit, we will say so and point you to the service that is.

2

First call

A longer first conversation to understand the person, the care in place, the money and the people involved, so that later calls start from knowledge rather than a blank sheet.

3

Monthly and quarterly

A guidance call each month and a written review each quarter. Between them, you know where things stand and what to watch for.

4

When something changes

Ring us. Members get priority, and because we know the history, the advice is quick and specific rather than general.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Membership questions

What happens on the monthly call?

You set the agenda. Typically we go through what has changed since last time, anything you have been sent or asked to sign, how the care is going, and what to expect next. You finish the call knowing what, if anything, needs doing before the next one.

What is in the quarterly written review?

A plain-English summary of the person’s current needs, the care in place and whether it is meeting them, the funding position, any concerns we have, and the things worth planning for over the next few months. It is written so that a relative who was not on the calls can read it and be up to date.

Can more than one family member be involved?

Yes, and we encourage it. Siblings or a spouse and children can join the calls, and the written review goes to everyone you nominate, so the family is working from the same information.

Does membership replace your other services?

No. Larger pieces of work — a full care needs assessment, a CHC assessment package, a care search — remain separate services at their published prices, with reduced member rates where applicable. Membership is the ongoing layer that sits between them.

Do you offer membership anywhere in the UK?

Yes. Calls are by telephone or video, and the written reviews are sent by email, so distance is not a barrier. See the areas we cover for in-person work.

Is membership worth it if nothing is changing right now?

Possibly not, and we will tell you. Membership earns its fee when there are decisions coming. If the situation is stable, a one-off Care Guidance Call and a plan to revisit may be the better use of your money.

You don’t need to know which service you need.

Just tell us what’s happening.

No pressure. No care-provider commissions. Just a conversation about what may help.

Independent · no commission from any care provider · fees published
