Independent · no commission from any care provider · fees published
ProfessionalsSome things a nurse-led practice should not do: draft your will, advise on your money, apply to a court. For those we introduce you to a named professional, regulated by the right body, insured, and paid by you at their own fee. We take nothing from any of them. Ever.
One partner per specialism per region, chosen for competence and manners, not volume.
Simple and mirror wills, codicils and will reviews. We do the capacity check where there is any doubt; they draft. Probate stays with a solicitor.
Partner’s own fee · typically £150–£350Care-fees planning, immediate-needs annuities, deferred payments, equity release and what to do with the house. We supply the care needs and cost report; they advise.
Adviser’s own fee · disclosed in writingDeputyship applications, contested LPAs, judicial review of ICB and council decisions, probate and estate administration. We supply the COP3, care evidence and expert reports.
Solicitor’s own fee · usually fixed for deputyshipTestamentary and litigation capacity, where courts prefer a medical practitioner. We keep to care, residence, finance, tenancy and LPA-making decisions.
Practitioner’s own feeReferral fees are legal in most of these professions and normal in some. They are also the reason families are steered towards the adviser who pays best rather than the one who fits. A practice whose whole value is independence cannot take them, so we do not: not from care providers, not from will writers, not from advisers, not from solicitors.
The reverse is also true. Partners who send families to us are not paid for doing so. What they get is a practitioner who turns reports round on time and says no to cases that should not be taken.
